What This Section Does

Policy Development

This process features a deliberate system for determination of acceptable procedures, rules, policies, and practices for conducting agency activities. Agency policies further establish definitive expectations and governance regarding the performance of employees’ duties through written directives.

Forms Management

RDD is responsible for management and coordination of the Patrol’s statewide forms, manuals, and reference materials. Content and relevance of each are reviewed on an ongoing basis and operability is regularly maintained by division personnel.

Strategic Planning

RDD provides organizational strategies for maximizing the agency’s effectiveness and efficiency. The Strategic Plan provides guidance for component operational objectives in pursuit of agency goal achievement. The Strategic Plan is integral for assurance of continued exemplary agency service into future endeavors.
