How do I obtain a copy of a crash report?
Crash reports can be requested from the Patrol Records Division. You may need to provide the date of the crash, the location, and the names of involved parties to help locate the report.
How long does it take to receive a crash report?
Processing times vary depending on the complexity of the crash and current workload. Reports must first be reviewed and entered into MoCARS before copies can be provided.
Records Requests
How do I submit a records request?
Records requests should be submitted in writing to the Patrol Records Division in accordance with the Missouri Sunshine Law (Chapter 610, Missouri Revised Statutes).
Is there a fee for records?
Fees will be determined based upon the nature of your request, including copies and reconstruction reports.
